About Us
Moulton Sports Complex
was opened on 6th November 1992, and was formally known as Moulton Leisure
and Community Centre. The Sports Complex is owned by Northamptonshire County
Council (NCC) and is on the site of Moulton School www.moulton.northants.sch.uk.
Moulton Sports Complex is a dual use sports centre used by Moulton School
from Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm and open to the public at evenings
and weekends. Since opening funding has been made available by Daventry District
Council (DCC) and Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) to support the running
of the Sports Complex.
In 1997 a lottery grant was awarded by Sport England (www.sportengland.org)
for the construction of an astro-turf pitch, two additional changing rooms
and an extension to the fitness room.
Moulton Sports Complex is now proud to be home to the Northampton Saints Hockey
Club, Northampton Mixed Hockey Association, Northampton Volleyball Club and Nene Badminton Club
