Playscheme- For Children aged 4-12

Our Playscheme offers a wide range of activities under the guidance of Playscheme instructors. Your child will learn, build confidence, create, develop skills and abilities in a wide range of activities including various sports, arts and crafts. During the summer Playscheme we also run a day trip on the Wednesday of each week.
We maintain ratios of 1:8 for under 8’s and 1:10 for over 8’s whilst at Moulton Sports Complex. These ratios increase to 1:4 for under 8’s and 1:5 for over 8’s on day trips. Children will remain under close supervision at all times, as their safety is our priority.

The Playscheme is registered with OFSTED and complies with all regulations and policies set by OFSTED. Activities run from 9am – 5pm, parents may sign in their children at the Sports Complex between 8.30 – 9am and collect between 5 – 5.30pm. If anyone other than the child’s parents is collecting them, the Sports Complex requires written permission.
The Sports Complex should be made aware of any medical conditions on the booking form. Children must self administer medication as the Sports Complex is not authorised to do this
Children will be split into three groups of approximately the same age range, usually 4-6, 7-8 and 9-12, arrangements may be made for brothers and sisters to be in the same group if required.

A Sports complex has been given a cash award for its community work, from the top league in English football
Moulton Sports Complex, in Moulton, has been awarded £2,000 from the Premier League's Creating Chances programme.
It will use the money to enhance its playscheme activ-ities, which include a wide range of activities including trips out.
It was one of 20 runners-up selected by Birmingham City FC in the Premier League's Places for Players initiative, which linked 200 Premiership players supporting good causes with £lm from the Premier League.
Nick Schanschieff, manager of the complex, said: 'It's fantastic to get the money.
"When you get something like this back, people do realise what you are doing for the community. We do not get any funding elsewhere but this money is something that can go into reinvesting."
The sports complex is linked to nearby Moulton School and its playscheme provides children with activities including trips to attractions such as the Drayton Manor theme park and a special fancy dress day with bouncy castle.
Creating Chances aims to help raise awareness of the work of charities and good causes, as well as creating fundraising opportunities.
Mr Schanschieff added: "This donation will be invested in updating a wide range of sporting and leisure equipment we need to keep up with the demand from community groups that currently use the cornplex. These include playschemes aged four to 12 years old, a wide range of after-school classes, children's parties, junior coaching for different sports up to adult fitness classes, a 50-plus group and ladies only."

Creating Chances was launched to show the positive work done by football in the community.
Richard Scudamore, Chief Executive of the Premier League, said: "Creating Chances highlights the Premier League and our clubs' continued and increasing commitment to local communities.
"We wanted to help as many good causes as possible so I hope the £2,000 donation for our runners-up will help them to continue their fantastic work and in many cases provide a springboard for charities and good causes to achieve their goals."

Children’s Coaching Courses

Freestyle soccer academy manage the Saturday morning Junior football coaching at Moulton Sports Complex.

An hour of basketball skill, fun and games run by qualified coaches.

Children’s Parties

Moulton Sports Complex offers a variety of children’s parties including Bouncy Castle, Football, Mini Games and Multi Sports. Parties may be booked on Saturday and Sunday afternoons or there is availability on a Friday afternoon after school. Parties are for one hour in the Sports Hall for the designated activity, an additional 45 minutes can be booked after the party for a food area.

During the period September to March the food area for ALL parties is restricted to the Sports Hall due to a contractual agreement between MSC and an external club. Therefore the bar area will not be avaliable as a food area.

Self Catering

If you like you can supply your own food for your children’s party. On site we have a refrigerated area so your refreshments can be kept fresh. If this is your preference please advise when booking party.
