About us:
The Playscheme has been running for over 10 years now and has always complied with OFSTED regulations and improvements We also work with early years to ensure our team of child care professionals are delivering not only a fun Playscheme but an educational one. All our members of staff are CRB checked and hold A qualification in Play Work or Child Care or similar.
So what is Playscheme about???
Playscheme is run in half term or school holidays for children aged between(delete) 4 and 12 years old between the hours of 8:30 and 5:30. Children will be spilt into groups, age dependent though we can make special arrangements to ensure friends are put together.
Every day is different at the Playscheme – activities will include sports, arts and craft, music sessions, bouncy castle, cooking, skating , drama , dvd and chill out free play sessions – as well as having sports days(delete), disco and fancy dress days. Multi use sports hall
Astro turf pitch
Tennis and netball courts
Large Grass playing area
Arts and craft room
Drama studio
Kitchen
Eating area inc chilled area for lunch boxes to be kept.
Base room /chill out room

A typical day may look like this
8.30 - 9.00 - Registration
9:00 – 9:30 sign in with group leader and settle in
9:30 – 10:00 Go to base room and introduce staff and rules then play mini games
10:00 – 10:45 Sports hall game of dodge ball, tag on lines ,basketball
10:45 – 11:15 snack time in lounge area and take register
11:15 – 12:15 Arts and craft making launching rockets / beaded bracelets
12:30 – 1:30 Lunch in lunch area
130- 1:45 registrations
2:00 – 3:00 Bouncy castle session + free choice play in sport hall
3:00 – 4:00 Drama session act out stories or make up your own in groups
4:00 5:00 ball games on astro or field (weather dependent)
Then home time – this is a just a example of what a day may include – if you did want to know what your group leader has planed please feel free to ask him or her when dropping off your child or making a booking
